7 to 5 Way Adapter

I had previously left a 3 star review stating that the adapter was fine, but was not the correct part or pin outs for the switch trailer. That was incorrect. This is the correct adapter. The trailer wiring had the brake override wire pinched and cut under the safety cable bolt new from dealership.

The quality of the adapter is fine, but the 5th pin does not connect to the reverse light pin at the 7 pin connector. It connects to the trailer brakes. It will not allow backing up the seadoo switch trailer without the use of the brake lockout bravket. The web site asks you to specify the year make and model of your seadoo boat when purchasing the adapter, so I would have expected it to be the correct part.
